This Hakka-Thai-Indian spot is serving $10 lunches for a generous portion of meat and noodles! For protein, you can pick between chicken, beef, and tofu, as well as either noodles and fried rice. The chicken pakora was both crispy and flavorful, and another favorite was the sweet and sour chicken with a spicy kick. Also, kids eat free on Sundays! The space is new and equipped with several TVs, perfect to catch any games playing

The lunch special was such a great deal! We got green Thai curry, general tao and ginger paneer. The portions were great and for the cost it was incredibly value. Will definitely visit again!

Went here twice. First time had the Hakka, which was really quite good! 2nd time we figure we try the Thai, and that left some things to be desired. We ordered the curry Pad Thai and Pad See Eew. The Pad Thai was really good. The Pad see eew, wasn't really Pad see eew. It was very garlicky, all I tasted was garlic...and the general flavour profile was moreso of a canto fried noodle than a Thai pad see eew. Again, not bad persay, but not what we were expecting, and the garlic was incredibly heavy. All that said, we'll be back. The food overall is good. I probably will stick with the Hakka and Indian though. Good portion sizes as well, pricing is reasonable and their dine in specials are good. Oh and staff is very friendly, both times we went.

I’m super impressed! I ordered the Manchurian fried rice with chilli beef and the regular fried rice with chilli chicken - both dishes were absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and the spice level was just right. Portions were generous, and the price? Honestly unbeatable for the quality and quantity you get. It’s a newer place, but I have no doubt it’s going to blow up soon. This spot is a must-try.

Great Spot for Indo-Chinese & Hakka Flavours I had a really good meal at Masala Wok Hakka in Scarborough. If you’re craving Hakka/Indo-Chinese food, this is definitely somewhere to try. What works: • Flavour & Variety: The dishes strike a satisfying balance of Indo-Chinese spices. The Hakka noodles were perfectly cooked with great texture, and the chili chicken had a nice kick without being overwhelmingly spicy. • Portion Size: Generous enough to have leftovers. • Value for Money: You get a lot for what you pay. The portions are good, and prices are reasonable. • Service: Staff are friendly and helpful, especially when offering recommendations if you’re unsure what to order. What could be improved: • Consistency: Some dishes were excellent, while others could use a bit more seasoning or moisture. If you're looking for the best new Hakka restaurant in town, Masala Wok is the place to go! We tried the chilli beef, black bean beef, chilli chicken, fried rice, Manchurian fried rice, and Hakka noodles — and every single dish was absolutely delicious. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The customer service was outstanding as well — Seran, the owner, made sure we were well taken care of and went above and beyond to make the experience amazing. Highly recommend to anyone craving top-quality Hakka food!

We recently visited Masala Wok and tried their chili chicken, pad see ew and pineapple fried rice. All 3 dishes were absolutely fantastic. We got it for take out and the packaging was super neat. Customer service was phenomenal. Will definitely be back to try the rest of their dishes.
